WHAT I COLLECT, AND WHAT I DON'T
Privacy policy

The short version. I collect as little as possible. I do not sell your data. There are no user accounts, so there is nothing to log into and nothing for me to lose.
What I collect
If you buy something: your email address, name, and country, plus whatever the payment processor needs. I never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe through Payhip, and neither passes card numbers to me.
If you join the email list: your email address, and which lead magnet or quiz result brought you in.
If you take the quiz: your answers are processed in your browser and encoded in the page address so you can share the result. They are not stored on a server and not attached to your identity.
If you just visit: standard analytics, meaning pages viewed, rough geographic region, device type, and how you arrived. This is aggregate and does not identify you individually.
Advertising: if I run ads, standard advertising pixels from Meta or Google may load, and those companies may recognize returning visitors. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies.
What I do with it
- Deliver what you bought
- Send you the files, and later revisions of them
- Send emails you asked for
- Understand which pages work
- Meet tax and accounting obligations
That is the complete list. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Who else touches your data
- Payhip and Stripe, for payments and delivery
- An email service provider, for email delivery, once I have one set up. This policy will name it directly as soon as I do.
- An analytics provider, for site analytics, once I have one set up. This policy will name it directly as soon as I do.
- Meta and Google, only if advertising is running
Each has its own privacy policy. I choose providers that behave reasonably, but I do not control them.
How long I keep it
Purchase records for as long as tax law requires, currently seven years in the US. Email addresses until you unsubscribe. Analytics in aggregate indefinitely, since it does not identify you.
Your rights
Email info@mindfulmotions.org and I will action any of these, at no charge:
- See what I hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete your data, though I must keep purchase records for tax purposes
- Unsubscribe, instantly, via the link in every email
- Take your data in a portable format
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have these rights by law. I extend them to everyone regardless of where you live.
Cookies
The site uses the minimum necessary: analytics cookies to count visits, and advertising cookies only if ads are running. No cookies are needed to read the site, and you can block them in your browser without breaking anything.
Children
This is written for working adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes
Updates appear here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how I use your information will also go out by email.
